The Holly Bobo Kidnapping

Any new news fellas? I'm over on NW TN/SW KY stateline and it's all over facebook about her disappearance. The lunatics in this world never cease to amaze me. Hope she's found alive and well.

Nope. Other than hearing more rumors that contradict everything else. At this point I have no clue who called 911 and who heard her scream.

I do think her brother saw them from inside the house but by the time he got outside they were gone.

I know they have extended the search to a nearby state park but don't know why.

It may have already been mentioned in this thread and I missed it but what is on the other side of that wooded area? I mean is there a road, field, etc? Is it very deep? Just curious. This whole situation is baffling. Didn't realize that she is a cousin of Whitney Duncan.

Being from Decatur county and going to church with her, you would never think something like this would happen in a town so small. It's definitely brought the community together and volunteers are doing whatever they can to help with the search. In my opinion something just doesn't add up right. Her 25 year old brother was supposedly the one that heard her scream (but ive also heard it was a neighbor..maybe both) and looked out the window and seen the man dragging her in the woods..im not sure if he went after them or not but I'm guessing he didn't and just made the 911call. The search dogs had her scent and were on a trail for a while and all of a sudden it just stopped.. No lead anywhere. So maybe they had a four wheeler out there waiting to pick them up..who knows. And then they thought they picked up a cell phone signal in the woods but can't pin point exactly where it's at. It's just a bad situation..I don't believe she's still out there or they would have found her by now. But she may be..all we can do is pray and hope that God brings her back to her family.

from another thread

"Dana Bobo said(in press interview) that he & his wife had already left for work yesterday morning before Holly was abducted."

this LINK was listed, but I can't find the quote.

Wouldn't be surprised if the perp is right there among them helping with the search.

So sad, hope they find her safe and alive. Prayers to her family

this photo of the property in winter with no leaves on the trees, shows the area quite well...

the pond is south... the carport is north end of house... assuming he took her north, the main road and a getaway car are not that far away.

I don't even see a neighbors house in that aerial photo. Yet the neighbor heard a scream and called 911? Also - abduction at 7:45 am? That's not a random act - that's planned.

The latest -

Her phone, a bag, and camo clothes were found in an abandoned house nearby.

I wouldn't trust this 100%, but it coming from people on the ground there so I'd put 95% stock in it.

I still can't tell you what I believe about the events of that morning though involving the brother and the 911 call. I've heard three stories, all of which make some sense and none make perfect sense.

First off, her mother was at work when it happened. There are MANY witnesses to that! Secondly, her brother was in the bed when he heard her scream. He went to the window where he saw her arguing with a guy in camouflage. He thought this was her boyfriend so paid little attention to him. Then he saw them walking into the woods. He thought nothing of this. When he realized Holly's car was still there he called the boyfriend to see where they were. The boyfriend had no clue what he was talking about so he called his mother. That's when they realized something was wrong and they both called 911.

-this was posted in another thread. No way at all of knowing the truth of it.

I don't know why the authorities won't just say who the woman 911 caller was.

I don't believe this was random. Two things at play here, IMO. 1) An internet stalker. 2) Staged runaway with somebody she met online.

In either case, the PC likely will yield a lot of clues.

I have heard something very, very close to this from people who work with her mother.

I've read a lot of chatter about quite a lot of time passing before the 911 calls. If indeed the mom, and not the neighbor, is the woman 911 caller, the above scenario makes some sense.

Not a lot of sense... Clint's nonchalance to Holly's distress is mind boggling... but some sense.

So now rather than being dragged into the woods, she walked with the perp into the woods? So did the scream come from within the woods? Tigervol, or anyone else, the boyfriend has been interviewed, right? I wonder what their relationship was/is like? It'll be interesting how all of this unfolds.
