The Holly Bobo Kidnapping

Tennessee Highway Patrol Lt. Brad Wilbanks said Friday that about 500 volunteers were searching a more narrowly defined area after authorities ruled out territory that has been thoroughly examined for any evidence in Holly Lynn Bobo's abduction.
~snip~
Wilbanks says Decatur County Emergency Management Director Kevin Cagle completely remapped the search area on Thursday.

Just seems like the volunteers are on a wild goose chase today. Again, I hope that's by design.

That's what I'm thinking. W/out knowing suspects, abduction/runaway, possibly alive/dead, water/woods......I would feel like I was jst wandering around in the woods......

It's honestly pissing me off. And I'm not involved with family, friends, or from there. I can't imagine how they feel!

They're going to search this new area heavily and if she's not found by Sunday they're going to expand the search? Wtf is that?! Not trying to sound like a drama queen but damn!

With all the area they've already covered and some new areas of interest coming up and they still haven't found a great deal of leads, granted I know they have a lot more than what they're telling the public, I hate to say it but I feel like the next place to search would be the Tennessee river.

At this point, I wonder if the lack of info being released is helping or hurting the investigation.......

imo, its kinda like football. the coaches know what they are doing. Fans don't need to know what's going on with the team. Just show up and support the effort. It is highly unlikely that a ordinary citizen solves this.

Systematic process of elimination. Not much else they can do.

Maybe they did..I'm not sure If they were just around the area or actually swept the river. Talked to a friend on the phone a few minutes ago and they were still out at natchez trace..not sure where they're headed next.

Still, by Sunday, it'll be 11 days searching the woods, for the most part. Something is keeping them there. Just venting frustration on my part.

MAP this is helpful... the icons on left detail search areas and dates... click and the map goes there..
When you look at the map... and remember Tiger's posts that authorities believed they were onto something friday night.... you can see a search path that traces the same general route... if they lost them friday night, the two areas of escape are the Tennessee River and I-40.

Both frustratingly bad thoughts for Holly's well being.

From @willnunley

TBI declined questions about blood evidence, possible suspects, detainments, and new evidence.

I know most would think the worst about the river but any chance it was just used as a way to move her? I don't know the area.

It is interesting, from looking at the map, all indications are the search/trail continues to move north. They must be onto something......

That's an interesting theory......we ski/fish just south of there all the time. Hard to imagine a foot>ATV>car>boat abduction/runaway, but anything's possible, I guess?

any chance it would be towards the fisherdale/fishers landing area in Decaturville?

Little furthur south......@ Saltillo. I was born in Memphis, but my parents have had a house on the river just south of Saltillo since I was born. Never make it much furthur north than Clifton. But that's why I find this story so interesting.....kinda know the area.
