The Holly Bobo Kidnapping

Anybody have any updates this morning?

Count?

I know they're back around the Adams house today & extended the search across the street to a wooded area.

The director of TBI said in his PC that they had multiple search warrants in multiple counties yesterday. Obviously the Adams house is a main point of focus, I just wonder if there are more places equally as important that they're keeping quiet.

But in a town as small as this, somebody would have already leaked that kind of info.

Thanks for the info. I'm curious about the other locations, as well. It seems like it would be hard to hide several TBI vehicles in this area.

Word is sandvol is on this. We will have the story soon.

Maybe not the best thread try to be funny. There are plenty of other threads on other topics where you could do that. This particular topic is incredibly painful for a lot of people.

"This is a very important time in this investigation. We're not going to say or do anything at the point to interfere with this investigation," said Gwyn. "Hopefully we'll be able to return Holly home safely to her parents. That's our goal.

Was this statement by Mark Gwyn made yesterday? Why in the world would he do that?? Is there any indication at all that Holly is still alive?

May have been trying to offer up evidence as part of a plea bargain.
I don't really know much about the case, but if the Adams guy was involved why would he give any info/evidence that could implicate himself? Why would a person with petty drug charges admit or help out this case in any way that could result in him spending 25 to life in prison? It doesn't add up, I don't buy into the whole guilty conscience thing.

Yeah he said that yesterday during the press conference.

What do you mean why would he do that? If there isn't any evidence to prove that she's dead, then their goal would be to bring her back alive. Obviously it's a slim chance but it's not impossible to think she could still be alive.

False hope would be a concern.

Just thinking about her mom. And what I would feel if someone said they want to bring her home safe at this point. The emotion of the situation is just something I can't fathom.

And those pictures of them sifting dirt, the first thing I thought of was something horrible when I saw them. I hope her mother hasn't seen them.

They're still treating this as a missing person's case and should do as such until there's evidence to the contrary, IMO. Do I think she's alive? No.

I agree they should operate that way. Just kind of unnerved me reading it. I guess I've assumed for a while she was dead.

But then again, those three women in Ohio probably had family and friends who thought they were dead too. :cray:

Good point. And they were gone 8-10 years, I think.

Yep that's what our pastor brother Don just mentioned yesterday. He said the fact that there has been multiple cases where people return home alive in the United States after so many years of captivity, gives the community hope that she's not dead.

When that story broke, it made me think of Holly's family. If I was her mother, I guess I would try to find anything I could to reinforce my hope that she would come home alive.

Anyone who knows. I've not followed this. You kept mentioning her mom, so I wondered if the dad is out of the picture or something.
