The Hunter Biden Thread

Trump Says he’d be Open to Pardoning Hunter Biden: ‘I wouldn’t take it off the books’

Former President Donald Trump said he wouldn’t rule out pardoning first son Hunter Biden.

The 45th president had previously not disclosed whether he would pardon President Biden’s son, but dished to Hugh Hewitt in an interview Thursday that he wouldn’t be fully opposed to the idea.

“See, unlike Joe Biden, despite what they’ve done to me, where they’ve gone after me so viciously, despite what — and Hunter’s a bad boy. There’s no question about it. He’s been a bad boy. All you had to do is see the laptop from hell. But I happen to think it’s very bad for our country,” Trump said.

That is a genius move politically, especially on a week in which the left is basically accusing him of planning to round up and jail everyone on the left.

If La Don Don Hitler came out and said tomorrow that he does in fact intend to pardon Hunter Biden - the heads at CNN would absolutely explode lol.

Joe Biden has nothing to lose by pardoning him of all federal convictions. Wanna try to bring charges of some sort against Joe? Good luck, since former Presidents are considered immune now.
Immune? If Trump wins, he can weaponize his DOJ and make Bidens life a living hell, too.

All that aside, and all the stuff on Hunters laptop aside, what was Hunter thinking screwing his dead brothers underage daughter?

What does that have to do with anything? If Trump wins, he can go after Biden with his weaponized DOJ and move the case to the most red city, most red judges, most red jurors, and unleash lawfare as well.

That was a stupid question. It has a lot to do with what you are suggesting.

.... and not if the underlying crime relates to a core or exclusive presidential power, and only if the alleged criminal act is manifestly outside of the perimeter of being an official executive action.

As for everything else? Good luck with that. LOL.

Sounds like a productive strategy for how to govern, and it would do wonders for the Republican Party in the 2026 mid-term elections .... where their losses will likely be just as substantial as they were in the 2018 mid-terms, anyway.

Trump won't go after anyone, he didn't go after Hillary and they had enough to bury her.

Most he might do is clean house within the DOJ/FBI.

Not a stupid question. My comment of what he can do if he wins, is exactly what Biden and his DOJ did the last four years.

That’s not what the ruling said

Yeah. I am not sure why the nutjobs keep saying the same thing over and over.

I assume Dementia Joe pardons Hunter before his term is up but he is taking the chance he doesn't keel over. Dementia Joe has the murders on his hands but has cover due to DOJ saying he is not mentality fit, but that doesn't mean he couldn't be detained to pending his ability to assist in his own defense. Obama and Hillary have no real cover.

(…)

WHOOPI GOLDBERG: But there's a much more serious pardon that many people are wondering about and that is people are wondering should Biden pardon his son –

[Audience members shouting “yes” and applause]

Hunter or does that make him an even bigger target for you-know-who coming in? It's an interesting question, which I pose to you all.

ALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: So, personally, I think I would pardon my child. I don't even have kids; I'd bury a body for my child. So, I get it as a personal decision.

I worry a little bit about the implications for the country and I mean this – not because Hunter Biden affects the country but because there's such a distrust in the powerful, the politically connected, and there's this idea that there is a different system of justice. We just saw Donald Trump, his indictments go away because he's in power.

(…)

11:07:06 a.m. Eastern

SUNNY HOSTIN: One of the issues that I have is when you look at the charges that Hunter Biden was indicted on, less than .09 percent of the population is indicted on -- are indicted on that charge, and so, it's basically close to zero. So, I actually think that the only reason he was indicted is because his last name is Biden!

[Applause]

So, if you look at it like that. If you look at it like that, then it is the right thing to do to correct course and correct that wrong and pardon his son.

The other piece of this is, Hunter Biden has acknowledged his addiction. He is an addict. And in the law, you know, there are all sorts of ways to handle people that commit crimes because of their addiction. There are drug deferment programs. And he should be someone should be treated bit differently because of the addiction and I would support not only I think his pardon on the illegal gun application one but the other one in California as well.

ANA NAVARRO: And you would support it for any other addict after rehabilitation.

HOSTIN: Yes. Absolutely.

SARA HAINES: Normally I take what you're saying, Sunny, about it’s because his son – because he is the president.

HOSTIN: For that particular charge.

HAINES: I agree but I think President Biden always recognized that and still took the higher road of what it meant for the country even in how he talked about it and handled it. But I'm exhausted and I think Biden has taken such a punching this time with all the losing the election -- having to hand it off, the way everything has gone, I feel like this would be the one thing I would wish for him that he could just say, ‘you know what, I'm out and so is Hunter.’ I just wish he could do one thing.

JOY BEHAR: They should pardon those dogs that bit the Secret Service agents. Those dogs need to be pardoned.

FARAH GRIFFIN: Justice for Commander Biden! That I'm on board with.

GOLDBERG: And on that we're going to go. We'll be right back.

Sunny, you do realize there are thousands of people in prison for that gun charge. Many didn't provide video evidence of the drug use to the courts.
Wonder how the black community feels about her statement?
