I get most of my supplies online. In Nashville, I like Hermitage Archery but it's a cross town trek for me so I dont' get out there very often. The archery areas at Bass Pro and Dick's always seem to be busy, which may be a sign that they do decent work.

Bass Pro is closed until at least November though.

I duck hunt in West TN .. used to deer hunt alot but duck hunting has pretty much consumed all of my free time now.

Don't use BPS. They can screw-up a bow quick. Find an archery only shop.

I'd love to hunt Elk here in Tennessee. But good luck getting a tag. I think there were only 5 issued last year. And one of them went for almost $18,000 on ebay. No joke.

Agreed. Much better off finding a specialist. I once took my shotgun to gander mtn to get fixed and that was a huge mistake. I will no longer use the big stores for any work on equipment.

When I lived in New Mexico, I use to go hunting in Colorado all the time. Did go elk hunting once and had a blast.

Was up at out lake house this past weekend and saw a few dozen turkeys just hanging around. Looking forward to taking a couple this year

I've done it in AZ but my dad would prefer Montana. He took a great one out of there a couple years ago

I've hunted there quite a few times myself.

It's definately not the same as it used to be. I used to hunt it a lot but it's geting tough to kill many ducks there anymore. The timber is all but gone.

I hunt for Deer, Bear, Pheasant and Turkey. I never went Duck hunting but that may change this year. I also am fishing all the time.

I've only been duck hunting once, but it was a lot of fun.

I'm in the market for one myself and I'm going to wind up spending way too much.

Anyone wanting to unload a good youth bow? Now that I'm shooting quite a bit, my oldest boy seems very eager. Don't want to spend a ton though because who knows when he may lose interest.

Get a kit from Cabela's, you will have everything you need to shoot, on a decent frame, for a reasonable price.

Theres no sense to look at a Hoyt or Matthews until you are sure you want to invest the money, though you can find them used occasionally for a good price.

Went and hung a couple stands this weekend. After lots of sweat and a bad case of poison oak I think I will be staying out of those woods for a little while.

The ticks are crazy this year. I've got a couple of cameras out but I don't want to check them.

Ticks are VERY bad this year. Mowing my turkey fields and caught 4 on me. Wear repelent guys, don't get Lyme Disease!
