The Iceman Cometh.....

Casey Clauson is LEGEND :eek:k:
I loved the commentator talking about how he wanted to go to Notre Dame but Davie told him he wasn't Notre Dame material. Then he ends up scoring the winning TD and stared Davie down across the field with a 1000 yard stare of death afterward....classic Iceman.

Congrats to both. Cool story about brothers working together and passing on the gift of football to future generations. These guys both did great things at UT. Casey was virtually unstoppable on the road and Rick had one of the most memorable wins (@ LSU post Katrina) of my lifetime. :good!:

I can remember when quite a few vol fans hated the guy.

Those same fans would give thier right arm for the guy now.

Hindsight is 20/20. I remember being so mad as a student, thinking "Of course, I have to be in school during the time this clown is our QB." To think, we were a 2nd half and back-up LSU QB away from a trip to Pasadena for the NC one of those years.

Moral to this story, appreciate what you have because it can always be worse.

DISCLAIMER: Before I'm bashed for hating on Casey, I did sit through the downpour and watch him single-handedly give UF the game before half time with three consecutive fumbled snaps backed up against the goal line.

Man that is really cool. Two brothers together coaching the game they love. I bet they develop a decent QB or two...

Hopefully, they can produce some 5* or 4* recruits and Casey and/or Rick can give U.T. some love.....so we can build a little recruiting network in Southern Cal.

What an outrage! Both Clausen's VFL status should be revoked for coaching somewhere besides Tennessee.

He's gonna turn Khloe Kardashian in to the most feared DT since John Henderson.

Funny you are...taught you well I have!

Those 2 are gonna be good coaches. They're young, and got a lot of energy. Jones should keep an eye on them, after a 2/3 years of experience and developing relationships with highschool coaches, who knows, maybe they'll be ready for the college league. Especially if they can recruit.
