Seems like a strange move 60 days out from the election.

Can they drop him off of the NBC Football Night in America broadcast also? How can one man be such an expert on so many subjects?

Matthews wasn't the Chief of Staff for just a run of the mill Congressman though. His work for Tip O'Neil along with his book "Hardball" is what put him on the map.

Matthews is definitely a partisan that I disagree with 90% of the time, but the difference is that he's a smart guy with a sense of history who has been in the trenches, so I'm at least slightly interested in what he has to say. Hannity is so predictable that he's just boring to me.
