If we only held those in Congress to the same standard when it comes to personal gain.....

I don't like Trump. I don't support Trump. But if he wins re-election, continued efforts by the left to unseat him harms the country more than he does IMO. Let's face it, it's a big IF for him facing re-election, and the Dems are doing everything they can to make sure ("rig") he doesn't win. So if it does happen, the left needs to learn to work with him rather than against him. That doesn't mean to capitulate to his every demand, but at least try to find some common ground and work for the country rather than focusing on these power grab moves.

You can agree to disagree, but what's happening now is far more political theater and power play than actual concern for our country. The left has fought the 2016 election since the results came in. They didn't even wait for proof of whether or not Trump was guilty of anything before questioning the legitimacy of the election. It's tiresome. Both sides are manipulating their base in one form or another and none of this benefits the country as a whole in anyway. It's all about political(partisan) benefits. End of the day, this is all about power. JMO, but both sides are abusing it. The bigger problem this country faces is people choosing sides and justifying one side or the other's abuse of power.

A double amputee will survive, but that's no reason to willingly give up two limbs.
The country will suffer greatly if Trump is reelected, on many levels. It is what it is.

The election should choose the President, not Congress, and not a disgruntled political party.
