Hugh Freeze is a fine Christian man who upholds a strong Christian moral values. Before his time at AU, he served as head coach at a fine Christian university. He is a very religious man.

He would never be involved in sexual assault scandals or be accused of sexual misconduct against teenagers while a coach in high school.

Baseless rumors against a good Christian man.

Heartbreaking for Auburn, but it hurts any playoff chance they had. If they beat UGA, they will have a hard time getting in. Hurts the narrative that they have improved so much.

That was a creative way to lose a game ....

It's hard to believe that Auburn rushed 2 down linemen and had a QB spy on a 4th and goal from the 31 yard line, and somehow still managed to be beaten with a pass to the back of the end zone to a WR in single coverage, after allowing such a large cushion from the line of scrimmage to the Alabama WR's .... and Freeze had even called a timeout to set up such a brilliant defensive effort.

You would think defensive coordinators would learn that rushing only three on a hail mary pass only increases the chances of the pass being successful. The QB has too much time to wait for a receiver to come open or too much time to throw more accurately downfield. And in this case, the three rushing linemen didn't even rush. They just held their lane to keep the QB from running. Auburn deserved to lose that game and their defensive coordinator needs to be fired.
