It's pretty hard to be as bad as Bush or Obama. I don't think you can criticize Bachmann or Palin as laughable candidates when we already choose horrible presidents.

Both would be vastly superior in their political "ideals". Both would likely surround themselves with people who are not DC insiders or academics. Both have proven executive ability. Both, particularly Palin, have shown that they are willing to stand for "right" even when their own party is wrong... or in her case, criminal.

I still have MAJOR questions about either. I am not convinced either would be a strong leader... yes stronger than Obama but that is setting the bar far too low...

Do you really think they would be "status quo"? Really? Bachmann in particular is a "true believer". I have absolutely no doubt that she would try to follow through on a promise to shrink the federal gov't. I am not as sure about Palin but do believe she would hold the fiscal line better than any President of the past several decades.

Just being fiscally responsible would be a RADICAL departure from the status quo.
