Too many things nowadays are already artificial. I want them to get dirty and have fun doing it. Also it would be nice if they felt the joy of having a fish spine in the fin jab a half inch into their hand just like I did growing up lol.

When I was a kid, I would rake through the pile of horse poop and straw at the neighbor's to find beetle grubs. Big fat white ones made excellent bait.

Have you seen the fish cages that some people use instead of a stringer? Anyway, we had several catfish in one years ago. We were in some very thick brush, and the cage got hung on the way out. I jerked it, and one of the catfish fins was sticking through and stabbed me in the leg. That hurt
