I have tried it. Broiled trout is much better using that cooking method. Catfish sposed to get fried.

A local mom and pop restaurant here in town has the best catfish I've had from anywhere. Its really good.

O'Charley's used to have Cajun Catfish that was broiled/baked in the oven. I've prepared it the same way many times. Its delicious.
