Those are delicious! You obviously have pretty good taste in sodas... I like to put a scoop of vanilla ice cream in a glass of orange soda! It's fantastic

The ones I used to get had a metal clip holding the lid down. I can remember my grandpa taking me to the store to get one and usually a candy bar of some sort when I was like 5 years old. We would sit in the store on milk crates while the men talked and told stories. Looking back on it now, its like something you would see in a movie. I miss those times and it made me happy when my dad would come get my kids when they were 4-5 and do something similar and I can't wait till I have grandkids so I can do it again. Its funny how something as simple as a rootbeer can jog these types of memories.
