The Last Ship.

Well just got done with ep 2 and I can say this should be the best season yet. Off to a great start anyway.

Considering the subject matter of the episode, that was a thoughtful decision.

I could give two craps about it. In the end it's just a tv show, it's fake, and it was filmed months ago. The american public should suck it up and and recognize those facts. If it coincidentally lines up with a real life tragic event then so be it. This is the result of our now pathetic PC nation.

Sorry a national tragedy screwed up your Sunday night TV plans.

Apparently they have rescheduled the premier for this Sunday!

It will be interesting to see if they did any editing of the episode this week!

The first three episodes have been pretty good so far. I'm interested to see if the virus has really mutated or if someone altered/tampered with the vaccine that was sent overseas, or if there has been a sabotage at the vaccine producing facility. If the virus mutated they killed off just about the only doctor that could have figured out another vaccine. That being said I'm not 100% sure Dr Scott is killed off. Typically an actor will do exit interviews after they leave a show, none of those can be found online. Tex is also "missing" from the show and there is no word or interviews online of him having left the show either.

#suspicious

I don't think there's a mutation. Dr. Scott was adamant that mutation was impossible. I think that scoundrel Ping is giving out fake vaccine or something.

Finally got around to watching the first three episodes last night and man if they can keep up this kind of quality the entire season it's going to be a wild ride.

I don't know if anyone else is watching this freaking awesome show but some good news was just released!!

The Last Ship has been renewed for a 4th Season by TNT!

TNT announced the action-thriller’s 13-episode pickup as part of the Television Critics Association summer press tour.

Well, they brought back Tex and no Rhona Mitra so I guess they really did kill her off. I was holding out hope they hadn't.

Yes!!!!

TNT has already picked up a fourth season of “The Last Ship.” Thursday the cable channel doubled down on that renewal.

The series, which wraps up Season 3 on Sunday, has been extended through a fifth season. The next two seasons will run for 10 episodes each, with Season 5 set for 2018.

Really enjoy this show. Happy to hear it is coming back. Why don't I like the new President?

Because he's the big, fluffy, harmless, huggable bear type who doesn't scream presidential material.

So we have had the cutter and the best friend. Let's skip ahead to when the CNO is drafted to run for president against a machurian candidate.

Wow! What a ending finally got around to watching the finale last night and I was surprised for everyone of those deaths.

Those I thought wouldn't make it did and who I thought would didn't!

It will be interesting to see what happens now with the CNO.

A few chronological errors I want to nitpick. They were at a standoff at an airport in St. Louis and the Nathan James was supposedly off the coast of California. I didn't like that it looked like the CNO got there so quick or at least it seemed like it. They could have leased popped up so many hours later or something to at least give the feel that some time had elapsed from when he left the James to when he arrived in St. Louis.

Now the long 9 month wait for Season 4!

Yeah I'm pissed that they killed off Tex. I suppose that was the only way they could have gotten Chandler to shoot that ratchety cow.
