No, I have been wearing hearing aids for over 50 years..........

I was born with ataxic cerebral palsy which includes a hearing loss in both ears.

Off topic, but one of my friends started losing his hearing a couple of years ago. He had some really discrete heating aids in and let me try them. I could hear people’s conversations from the other side of a crowded room. It was trippy

It seems like today's batteries give you a warning for about 1/2 day before dying. it used to be several days.

Yeah, after about 2 days of it not firing up with great energy, I saw the writing on the wall and but the bullet. Apparently these civics don’t get a lot of life out of a battery. It’s within a couple of days that I’ve had the car for 3 years, so it made it just out of any warranty.
