Harbor freight is that spot. Some of the stuff is junk, some of it is actually decent, always feels like a value.

I love it. I've had several instances where I was able to use it to speak with someone at the door while at the office. Also caught the UPS guy throwing a fragile package from midway across the lawn. Now he gently places them.

I'm not quite as happy with the ring cam. It cannot be hard wired and also doesn't have the ability to use an AC router signal. It's fine for now, but I'll be waiting for the 2nd generation before buying more.

It was the perfect weekend to be outside. I did have to turn the pool heater on for the first time though.

Yep we had about twenty 5yo's plus some younger ones running in the yard for 2 hours.

We hit our heater this week too. Pool dropped down to a frigid 77 so we had no choice

I would guess one reason they aren't seen further north often would be due to ice. One good freezing rain and every section would drop.

Do you have a gas or electric heater PJ? I had gas in Ga, but electric here. I'm interested to see what a weekend heat did to the bill.

It's electric. We had gas in VA too and really miss it. One of our neighbors has a propane tank but I didn't think it was worth it
