nice I bought that Black Friday 2011..It's a really good TV for the price...Then it was $499

It's a hell of a value. It was 599. I did a double take. I was looking at a panasonic that did 3d and smart tv. Two things I have no use for.

I had a hard time picking out a tv for my man cave because most of the tv's in the size range I was looking for were either smart tv or 3d or both. I knew for sure I didn't want 3d and I didn't think I would use the smart tv all that much. Ended up getting a 60 inch Sharp that didn't have either and was on sale at Best Buy.

Nice. See the deal with me is the Smart TV I can take it or leave it, but that means I would not be able to run it through my home theater. Also I have a PS3 and Xbox, both of which do all of the netflix and Amazon stuff.

The 3d is a waste for me because I would actively have to go out and find the stuff to get 3d programming.

I also think 3d is a dumb gimmick that adds little.

Completely agree with this statement. Plus the fact that I would have to add to my cable bill to get 3d programming it does not make sense and isn't worth it to me.

How murch was that one.. I saw a 60" Vizio at SAM's for $898, I saw a Sharp at Wall Mart $1,200.. I have 42" Vizio down stairs like it pretty good
The old 55" up in my man cave is about to go out. I'm going to fill in the void & sheet rock it as a flat wall. Put a 60" up. The 2 brands are pretty close

Absolutely. Having to pay extra is not cool. I will get behind 3d when it is glasses free.

If I went to someone's Super Bowl party and they were watching it in 3d I would watch in 3d for about 10 minutes. I don't have time to wear another pair of glasses.

The Sharp was on sale at Best Buy during Christmas for $899.
