I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, but the last time we wore a non-orange jersey at home, we pulled an upset.

In October 2009 against South Carolina, the black jersey made its debut!

I'm ready for some smokey gray and an upset!!

If history repeats itself, does that means Kiffin will show up too? I mean, he's got nothing that conflicts with his schedule.:eek:lol:

I doudt that we will pull the upset but:

When Denver changed the design on their helmets, they went to the SuperBowl.

Seattle changed their uniforms and put a lime green stripe on their jerseys and then they went to the SuperBowl.

The Atlanta Falcons changed their uniforms and then they went to SuperBowl against Denver.

New England changed their uniforms and they ended up winning the SuperBowl.

The only team that I know of that changed their uniforms and did not go to the SuperBowl is Cincinnati.

Stop. It's much easier to deal with the loss when you don't expect outlandish things.

UGA could beat us without Murray and Gurley even playing.

The talk over on GVX247 is that there's a possibility that we may have an alternate helmet as well, which would be a surprise. From what I read, UT is staying very tight lipped abut that happening, but it's a definitely possibility. Would be pretty cool, IMO.

I agree.... I have been a Vol fan for over 55 yrs... I am committed to a team, NOT A COLOR, the reason I like Orange is because of the Vols.... If they came out in Green or purple I would still be a VOL.

was it really an upset? can't remember the line.

i just know we waxed them, i dressed up as cousin eddie, and then got a sinus infection.

Highly unlikely. Murray and Gurley will be playing on Sundays. Have no idea who Murray's backup is, might just be a reason for that.
