We have stunk up the orange and white jerseys this year already. Guess its time to stink up some different color ones now.

I doudt that we will pull the upset but:

When Denver changed the design on their helmets, they went to the SuperBowl.

Seattle changed their uniforms and put a lime green stripe on their jerseys and then they went to the SuperBowl.

The Atlanta Falcons changed their uniforms and then they went to SuperBowl against Denver.

New England changed their uniforms and they ended up winning the SuperBowl.

The only team that I know of that changed their uniforms and did not go to the SuperBowl is Cincinnati.

The Falcons went to black jerseys and helmets in 1990; they went to that Super Bowl in 1999. Kind of a stretch to attribute a Super Bowl to a uniform change that happened 9 years earlier.

Seattle's uniform changes were in 2002, 3 years before their Super Bowl year.

Buffalo changed uniforms in 2002 and got worse.
The Jets changed uniforms and haven't been to the Super Bowl, though they did get better.

And actually Cincy did go to the Super Bowl after changing uniforms, but not this past time; they went to the bengal strip helmets and new uniforms in 1981 and went to the Super Bowl.

So you're saying if we change uniforms we will win a national championship within the next decade? I'm down for that!

The Rams won the SB and then changed their uniforms.

They suck again. How'd that happen?

And the Jaguars.

It's really early... But I'm going to go ahead and call it.

Yep, just look at our record from the 2009 USC game to now. Worst period in school history.

Alternative uniforms might increase revenues from jersey sales but it has absolutely nothing to do with blocking and tackling. Neyland and Bryant both subscribed to the theory that the team that blocked and tackled the best would win the football game. Both of those guys built outstanding traditions with that philosophy and had nothing to do with gimmicks or alternative uniformss

This team has problems pushing people off the line and does not know how to wrap up on defense. Until that gets fixed we will not win.
