Arkansas' basketball program made $10M in profit last year. I think that was about $1.4M more than we did. South Carolina football is also very profitable. Just sayin

Your argument is keep Arkansas bc bball made 10 mil? That's awesome! I'm sure UNC or Duke came nowhere near that. Arkansas and Suck Carolina add nothing to the conf. Are they sharing that 10 mil with someone?

SEC is already football dominant and should consistently remain that. Add some bball schools and destroy the ACC at the same time.

Duke made less, and UNC was 4mil above. I think the point was that Arky had peoples interest even though they were a sub par team. Having a lot of interest in your program is good for any conference.

Arkansas draws interest in Arkansas because there is nothing to do in Arkansas but your sister. (not really true, I've been hunting there a couple of times)
If the SEC would trim the fat and add tobacco road, tv money would be stupid! Not only because you're now the premier bball conference, but you destroy the current premier bball conference in the process.

Would losing Arkansas hurt our chances of one day adding any of the flagship Texas and Oklahoma schools?

One day? You're assuming that the flagship schools you allude to would even reconsider or that the SEC would even go after them, given the current expansion debacle.
