his mother said that a while ago and im pretty sure some people on here stated she has no idea what shes talking about. i dont think this is anything new. i believe he is down to KU and UT. i think he ends up at kansas because his mom doesnt want him at UT.

i think you are right.

I hope he goes to Kentucky so that twice a year Bruce and the Boys can show him and his mother what a mistake it was not to sign with Tennessee.

I would love to have him, but I agree, no matter how good he is, if he does not want to be hear, then we do not want him.

I don't buy this for a second from any of you guys saying this stuff.

I'm all for men wanting to Bleed Orange (a la Tobias Harris), but saying we don't "want" or "need" an upper elite recruit is silly. If he doesn't want to be here, "so be it", but not "f*** him" or "we don't need/want him". We do! It's just c'est la vie (such is life) if he doesn't end up here.

Kansas is his likely destination. Guess what....KU is an Adidas school. Can't really use that excuse if they land him.

Lets face it guys, we always say that UF does not send offensive guys to the pros. Well if Selbys mom is hung up over money then she probably does not want Josh to come to UT, who the heck do we send to the NBA, nobody. Hopson was a huge recruit and I expect him to be here 4 yrs, Selby is one and done even if he struggles in college, he wants to go pro and his mom does 2.

so does this make him yet another "once in a generation" player?

Its blows my mind how the so called "experts" act like Wall or a High School kid is a "once in a generation" player. What a joke! The only players Ive seen in the past 10-15 years that deserve that kinda respect didnt even play in college, Kobe and Lebron!! Wall is a great player and probably the best in the NCAA this year but thats not sayin much. College BB doesnt have the super star luster it had back in the 90's. Although, after typing this I will have to admitt I forgot one, Kevin Durant is a once in a generation player!!! This kid has such crazy good skills its unreal. Kinda got off topic, sorry...

Yeah, i agree...You RARELY seen the generational type players losing control of the ball....Wall does that consistently...Now dont get me wrong...he's a game changer...but not a generational player..ala James, Bryant..etc..

Screw her and Marlon Browns grandmother
Posted via VolNation Mobile

At least Marlon Brown's Grandmother was on to something with CLK, and after the WR class we brought in this year Marlon Brown would have a heck of a time trying to get on the field.

With Witherspoon it seems like she has a hidden agenda for herself. From the quotes she doesn't seem all that genuine. I feel like she wants Josh to make it big so she can get paid, not because she wants what's best for him.

I think there is a good chance Harris starts to change that fact.

I completely agree with you. Too many times I hear commentators throw the phrase "once in a generation" player around. John Wall IS NOT a once in a generation player. He is probably the best in college right now, but that doesn't make him a once in a generation player. Over the last few years there have been many talented one and done players who I would put as more talented than Wall. Kevin Durant is definitely, and I'd say Michael Beasley and even Derrick Rose had just as big if not a bigger impact than Wall.
