Factual Error
Movie The Phantasm
Mike is able to escape a room by attaching a shotgun shell to a hammer that when he hits the door blows a hole in the door, and he is able to escape the room.
Unlike MacGyver this is not science truth.
Truth
In a shotgun blast the explosive force is channeled along the gun barrel.
Without a barrel to channel the force it would send the buckshot in all directions so it be highly likely to kill him, and would be hard to blow a hole on a door because of the buckshot going in all directions.
Man I can't believe a movie based in reality like Phantasm would make such a mistake!
Sarcasm or ironic because those movies aren't set in the real world.

Movie Justice League
Batman "I'm not the one who brought a pitchfork."
It's not a Pitchfork it's a Quindent.
Does the writer hate Batman because that serious line makes the World's Greatest Detective look like a Moron.
Factual Error
Movie: An American Werewolf in Paris
Andy moves upward traveling a fast speed after bunge jumping from the Eifle Tower hits a metal girder which has the result a mild concussion because plot armor.
Truth
He would have been killed because of hitting a metal girder with his head traveling a fast speed.
Sarcasm or ironic because those movies aren't set in the real world.

Didnt read the thread, but hopefully someone mentioned Braveheart.
Movie: Tomb Raider The Cradle Of Life
A Shark swims fast to Laura because she is bleeding which does attract Sharks.
Laura Croft easily punches a shark's face with the result the shark swims away from her, and Laura grabs the fin since she doesn't have to do most swimming to get above water.
In real life humans can't easily punch a Shark's face swimming fast toward a human to prevent a shark attack, also could easily backfire with the shark easily eating the arm of the human, and since sharks can move faster than humans in water the odds greatly favor the shark.
