The Light Came On

Would’ve been a Heisman type performance if the WRs could help him out. Kitselman, Bru and Donte played great but everyone else needs to hit the jugs machine and learn to hold on to the dang football or get benched already. No reason to still be having drop issues this late in the season.
Staes had a good game. It was great to see the TEs get so much attention.

Nico was definitely not the problem most of the time. He threw some sweet balls with nice touch. Problem is that nobody can seem to catch.

Sampson is a legend. Full stop.
That goal line "push" was astounding. Dylan kept the legs churning as teammates pushed the pile. I'd love to see a photo. Please?

It seems the hit by Alabama that put Nico in the injury tent for a bit woke Nico out of the funk he was in. I think he started looking at the pass rush after the first time he got smacked in the mouth at Oklahoma, and it lasted until that one trip to the tent. Since then, he has looked like the Nico everyone drooled over.

Seemed like he saw the plays better and had great touch putting the ball in places we aren't used to seeing. Loved it. Who knew tight ends can be thrown to?

Need receivers to step up. 3 dropped tds

Lol. It’s hard to label those as “drops”. Nimrod should have caught his for sure. The pass to the te where he got hung out to dry…nobody is hanging onto that. The layout in the end zone was catchable but wasn’t easy. That one still needs to be caught.

Woulda been an epic breakout that I called if we catch the tds… 87 was tough tho db put the helmet on the ball… 17 and 11 owe em big time though…
Yep. I don’t call Kitselman’s a drop. DB timed the hit perfectly with helmet on the ball. Not much chance to hang on to that one.

Gonna rain on this parade. It was against a sh!tty Kentucky team with like 5 or 6 defensive starters out..

Kentucky is 7th in the nation in pass defense. They held Jaxon Dart to his season low in passing yards, they held Carson Beck to his season low in passing yards, they held Diago Pavia to his second lowest season total, (his lowest was in a 55-0 win over Akron where they barely played him, 13 passes total). They are a Jekyll/Hyde team and can play very well (beat Ole Miss on the road, 1 pt loss to UGA, stayed with us) but also very bad at times. However, they have played good pass defense all season for the most part.

As of right now, the words Nico and heisman should not be mentioned in the same sentence.

Whoa now! Don’t get it mixed up lol. Nico is nowhere close to a Heisman candidate right now. But players can have Heisman performances sometimes even if they’re not fully developed yet imo.
