The look on Zakai's face

He's quite simply the most lovable Vol since...Lofton? Bradshaw? Just such an easy guy to cheer for and he deserves everything he gets be ause he's worked his butt off to get it, never made excuses, and is tough as nails.

On another note, watch his basketball IQ on display in between plays, or his awareness during play. He is constantly communicating with teammates. He recognizes when an opponent walks and motions it as he's still guarding him to let the officials know he saw it. He gently corrects teammates when a play goes wrong. He's just a natural leader.
He's a helluva lot of fun to watch. Several times I just laughed and shook my head when he made the UK defense look like they were running in mud. By contrast, I got sick of the cameras focusing on Washington and his woe is me performance on the bench. You can be injured but still act like a teammate and show some support. Didn't care for that schtick at all from him. Great performance by everyone involved including the fans. Great, great night.

ZZ is amazing and a great get by Coach Barnes. He brings lots of energy to the team when he enters the game. He's already a fan favorite of Vol fans.

I didn’t mind them cutting the camera to Washington. Let the whole world see poor little Cry Cry Washington. He knew he shouldn’t have been playing with that injury and let his arrogance get in the way of his decision making and probably made his injury worse. He also did more harm than good to his team because he clearly couldn’t play defense in his condition. Hopefully he learned a lesson to listen to his body. Cal actually blamed himself after the game and said he should have gone with his gut and not played the kid but Cry Cry insisted on playing. They have a tough game against Alabama and may lose that game without him. He should have taken the week to rest and be healthy enough for that game but he’s in danger of missing more time now.

He's also quick to the scene to defend a teammate. I actually love that he was there for Fulky and Santi when the UK coach was acting a fool. After being able to watch the replay and a video from a friend from right behind it. the UK coach yelled something and pointed at something near Fulky or at Fulky and then stepped into Santi and went chest to chest with him. ZZ and Santi tried to walk by but he stuck his chest out to both of them and ZZ gave him the shove. He's got his teammates back.

18-1 run for the good guys immediately following the dust up. Can’t help but wonder if ZZ doesnt run over and stand up for the team, if that run still happens.
