So Eliza was actually Jane from the books? Quentin is upset that she was killed now! Imagine when he finds that out!

That's how I understood it. She's one of the original Fillory children, Jane Chatwin. Yeah, he might blow up New York given his powers and propensity to just let them go.

Lol I get why you like this show now.

I can only guess at what your original comment might have been but if it was in regard to a particular relationship portrayed on the show the answer is most assuredly no. Lol

I just think the show is interesting and different from most of the other stuff on tv right now, and it has magic. I'm not saying the acting is stellar but you and I both watched Under The Dome and we tolerated that. I think that was far worse in terms of acting skills.

I'm working my way through season 1. I really don't like Quentin. I think the only characters I do like is the Dean and his assistant.

I so loved the book, but I feel the TV show is the absolute worst possible version of the book that it could have been from direction, casting, style, etc...

Why wouldn't Martin just kill Julia and take the knife from her? What's the point in actually working with her? I'm not quite sure I understand this character pairing.

Well, I wasn't expecting that to happen. The timing of them pulling The Beast away from the apartment was just awful. Lol

I've got to get around to watching the Season Two episodes that's on my DVR!! Season One was awesome!

The Magicians has been renewed for a 13 episode 3rd Season on SyFy!

The series, which hails from Universal Cable Productions, has seen strong ratings growth in its sophomore run. To date, Season 2 is up year over year across all key demos (P18-49 +15%, P18-34 +23%, P25-54 +9% and +6% among P2+), and has nearly doubled its freshman run in social engagements across platforms, according to Syfy.

The second season flowed much better than the first, imo. Clear, nicely paced story lines. Nothing was really dragged out. This latest episode was surprising, but good to say the least.

This is a very entertaining show. It's totally different from anything else on tv. I'm glad they renewed it.

I'm not typically big on musical episodes of shows but I have to admit the way they shot the Under Pressure sequence was fantastic.
