The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

Well. Forgive me if I don’t have much faith in the GOP to fight for anything other than their personal political survival. Guess we will just have to see it play out.
Based off the past that’s accurate. “You’d be in jail” comment to Hillary should have been followed through.

It's only selective if the Republicans choose not to fight back. With the current system, we need the parties to keep each other in check.

I agree. The other problem I see is that the parties refuse to police themselves. If that happened then we could get back to a functional government.

Self Policing is the only way to fix the system but both fear a loss of standing/power in doing so.

A party policing/calling out the other does nothing except fuels more chaos no matter what crime or misinformation has been stated.

Acting like grown-ups and leaders in their position would be a start. Santos is an example as well as OAC, MTG is another. These are just a few examples and there are plenty on both sides that need to go. More or less 100 republicans and 100 democrats need to be kicked out of Congress alone.

Take Biden and Trump out of 2024 and who do you have to run on either side. Republicans - Desantis, Democrats - ?.

Worse I have ever seen politics at the National level.

Trump shows his true colors by telling his supporters to protest, after telling them the Justice dept has been weaponized. If true and it is, why would you lead your supporters into an ambush?

To anyone thinking about protesting, dont or at least dont do it in a blue city or State.

How is that different than Maxine Waters encouraging disruption if they didn't get the verdict they wanted in the George Floyd trial?
It's not any different, hasn't changed. What is so stupid is that MWaters did not have to say anything to fuel the fire. It would have happened regardless of what was stated. OJ says hello.

Self-policing would be best, but it won't happen. We see examples of why not all the time on this board. Take EL for example. Everyday she bitches about something Republicans have done while fervently defending Democrats for doing the exact same thing. We live in a world of hypocrisy.

Trump has plenty of resources to fight this, unlike many of the poor ba$tards caught up in 1/6 who have been bled dry by legal bills, long waits for a trial and then ridiculous jail sentences handed out by kangaroo courts in DC. Yet, very few in the GOP spoke out on their plight let alone helped these families. The GOP is filled with gutless cowards.

2 wrongs don't make a right. We need to pursue any President or family that has used their status through monetary gain. Same applies to Congress & the Supreme Court. Get rid of them all and jail them if need be.

-HW Bush lied us into Gulf War I
-Clinton had too many scandals to count
-W Bush lied us into Gulf War 2
-Obama had Fast Furious, Benghazi, Yemen, IRS, etc
-Biden is a lifelong corrupt politician whose family dealings are now starting to come to light
-Trump has his own issues for sure but nowhere near the others above and would put him last on that list of a$$holes

The GOP is not filled with gutless cowards, they are trying to have their cake and eat it as well. They will not break from Trump because of a loss of Trump Supported votes in their states. As a result they are in a Catch 22. Lindsey Graham is the greatest example of this of walking a thin line. He is not loyal to Trump, but he is when he needs to be to secure the Vote. We don't need these kind of leaders in Congress. He keeps everything in a grey area when it comes to Trump.

The list goes on and on President after President. Deal with the present not the past we have two potential candidates with influence of which neither are qualified to hold the office. What's more, the many party members supporting them are just as unqualified to hold their positions in Congress. It is a stalemate and a mess my friend.

You say we should go after past Presidents, I am saying by showing those examples, they would all be in jail.

Trumps issues only became issues when he switched to Republican.

I am back on the Trump train now.
Now out to burn some businesses down.
