The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

lol....I agree, but that's certainly a message better suited for the "lock her up" "patriot" crowd.

I think the left took far greater care than did the right in regards to inflammatory words and conduct.
You know it was the Bannon/Trump strategy to divide, portray the left as the enemy, and call it war.
Horrible and destructive strategy...........many (51%+) knew it from day one.
The danger proven by other's rhetoric as strategy is why you must be ever vigilant. It proves the impressionable nature of others. Certainly if it's true for them it's true for you and others who offer thoughts in an open and active dialogue.

Yup, see the Republican Congressional Baseball practice a few years ago. Or the nutcase who tried to kill Kavenaugh.
Funny isn’t it that all the warnings about political violence center on the right; but all of the examples seem to come from the left isn’t it?
It's why Luther should exercise more care. And the more he deflects, the more we are forced to reasonably conclude he did it intentionally.

NOTE TO ALL: Allow me to speak for him since he is unable. Luther did not mean anyone to take literally what he said in his earlier post. Please do not do '...whatever is possible to eliminate Trump...'. There is no room for violence or murder in our system.

Which is why Trumpism should have been repudiated from the start, and I strongly take into account "divisiveness" when voting in the primary. It's why I didn't support Hillary.....because I understood how many on the right would react.
But, I'll amend my statement.........
If I were a citizen that cared about his country, I would have done whatever legally possible to eliminate the Trump nonsense as soon as it started.......certainly not gleefully join in, which is what so many did.

Agreed. As much as i disagree with Luther on policy, I have no doubts as to the goodness of his character. I took no such inference from his statement

Let me now speak for McDad since he seems incapable of posting my quote in it's entirety:
"Luther clearly said 'eliminate the Trump nonsense' and not 'eliminate Trump'. While I acknowledge that anyone with a functioning brain can understand the difference, Luther probably should have added in the world 'legally' because so many of the posters in the PF do not meet the above criteria."

That's a noble amendment.

Let's hope you offered (and the impressionable receive it) sincerely AND let's also hope the potential harm done is reversible.

Not at all. Those questions were being asked and answered truthfully every day. Republicans made the choice to ignore the reality.
Then they need to answer honestly. The policies they're concentrating on have no ability to help this country. If only the left had the guts to call it out.

That's reassuring to know. Would you describe yourself as someone independent in thought or as someone impressionable?

That’s why i did my part legally at the ballot box and voted against him in the primary. If he continues his current run, I plan on donating to his most viable primary opponent and once again, voting against him. I will also do all i can to convince my fellow Republicans that the man is counterproductive to achieving the goals that matter to us.
But be careful what you wish for. You might actually wind up with a conservative who knows what they are doing and how to govern. Trumps undisciplined approach makes him more of a Twitter headache than an actual effective opponent of liberalism. I really don’t think Democrats have accurately imagined what a Cruz presidency from 2016 to 2020 would have been like. Count yourselves fortune that you got Trump

Great to see you agreeing what you posted was inflammatory and dangerous when read by some.

Keep up the effort so you can mitigate the damage done in influencing others to unconscionable violence.

Proud of you.

Is Trump derangement syndrome to blame for NY DA Bragg to withhold evidence from the grand jury.

I'm not a lawyer by the grace of the big man but I don't think DAs are obligated to disclose everything to a GJ. I would call it unethical since they are supposed to be looking for the truth but it's probably not illegal.

If that is indeed the case our justice system needs to be burned down and blown up. If as a DA you indict someone knowing there is evidence to the contrary, that is beyond stupid and disgusting

That's what you took from my post?
I guess I can summarize it this way. What I said, and other similar comments, are 1/1000th as inflammatory and dangerous as were the constant chants of "lock her up". And it's great to see you agreeing that there is no place for that in public discourse.
(I'm trying to remember how vocal you were in 2016 in your condemnation of Trumpism)

This is precisely what the left refuses to acknowledge. Sure, they will declare all day everyday “Y’all just need to move on from Trump! He’s bad for the country. Nominate someone with integrity, someone that will unite rather than divide. Someone that America can be proud to support. As a lifelong democrat, I may even cast a vote for that person”.

The problem with that view is this: R = Racist, sexist, intolerant bigot in the eyes of most democrat voters. No matter who we nominate, many on the left will consider them “literally Hitler”. So don’t believe the lies they spew. We need to nominate a fighter because we are in a fight to protect ourselves and children from the democrat party agenda.

That's exactly what the right-wing propaganda machine would want you to think. It seems they've been successful with many.

I probably wouldn't be as concerned had you not identified yourself as an agitator.
