It's hard for me to keep up with all of Trump's crimes, it would be a full time job trying to do so. Did Stormy refer to him by the nickname she recently bestowed upon him? "Tiny".

Because they got Stormy to go all up in the details of the boinking after Judge told them to steer clear of it. Multiple objections sustained to the content of her testimony. Defense is saying she changed her story and the only way for them to impeach her is to go into the same prejudicial subject matter some more. Asked for a mistrial. Denied. Appeals court may not agree with the Judge’s decision on that and the issue seems well preserved.

Great reliable source you are using. Let us know when it happens. If the Board finds that FC violated Georgia election law then more than Fulton County Election members will get fined, reprimanded, and referred to the AG. Self-inflicted wound.

Considering is a big word to use which means they really have nothing. The vote was counted 3 times, really don't think much is here. FC did not violate any election laws and the double count would be impossible to prove at this point. Crap against the wall to stir up the masses and this is one that will not stick. Keep on, keeping on. Hopium and Opium are not a good mix. If successful it will definitely end up at SCOTUS in 3 to 4 years and some will look as foolish as those who are innocent. Broad net. Bigger waste of time than the NY Cases.

Would an appeal of the judge rejecting the mistrial motion have to wait until a verdict is reached?

In Tennessee, yes. Defense could ask for an interlocutory appeal but no judge is going to grant that while the jury is empaneled.

Not granting the mistrial is not super surprising, at this point.

When the prosecution is finished with their case in chief the defense will make a motion for judgment of acquittal and probably renew their motion for mistrial. It will be renewed at the close of the case and after the verdict.

Those are all rarely granted and I’ve seen worse get ignored on appeal but that’s a chickenshit move by the prosecutor.

404(b) objections are normally not a very favorable appellate standard for defendants, but judge sustained objections, so there seems to be a ruling that some of it was prejudicial. The fact that her story changed to make him seem more predatory is also prejudicial and puts the defense in a situation of having to impeach her by going more into detail of things that were supposed to be avoided, according to pretrial rulings.

The state saying it’s probative to why he wanted to keep it hushed up, but the story of her feeling coerced wasn’t a story anybody had heard until today.

I think “may have” accurately conveys the likelihood that it ends up being a problem.
