The Masters Tournament

I assume you are talking course management, something us amateurs very seldom do.

I always fire at the pin

Then you're as goofy as the guy that posted before you. For one they aren't gonna fire at every pin & try to get it close. Two, they are gonna fire at a line away from the pin & play the slope to get it close on a lot of holes.

Course management is always funny to me when the pros talk abkht it. Cuz most amateurs mess up a lay up was often as attacking a pin

Pretty sure they're aware of that.

Is the par 3 getting rained out or something? Trying to watch on the app & says "off air".

Goofy? wtf do I have to lose, Im not a professional

We were talking about the Masters or so I thought. There aren't many pins on those greens that you wanna fire right at if you wanna get it close. If you fire at some you will end up off the green or with an impossible 2 putt or up & down. Some holes like 11 & 12 they hardly ever go at the pin.

Goofy?? I was being sarcastic and making fun of you. You were telling me about something that I have known about since I was around 12. The total tonnage of what I know about course management that YOU DON'T would stun a team of oxen right in its track:birgits_giggle:

I bet your tee time tomorrow is the same as mine.

If they aim at every pin & hit it on line they won't be close to the flag on most of the holes.

It's not sinking in. Everyone in the golf forum realizes what you say above. However, when they are skipping off the water, they are aiming wherever they think they need to in hopes of the ball going in the effing hole.

I don't know wtf the argument is, outside of stubbornness.

So? It is also the same as Ernie Els and Retief Goosen.

You should check yourself a bit on lecturing about anything concerning golf unless you have competed at a pretty high level. Finishing 2nd in your local club championship doesn't qualify. :eek:k:

So you're on tour? If not sticking your chest out about competing at a high level & failing isn't saying much. I could care less how much you play or at what level it doesn't mean you know any more than anybody else.

When they are skipping the ball they are aiming at the green with simple hopes of getting it over & possibly on the green. That's it. If you think they are seriously trying to hole it you need help.

Well, you answered my question, and the answer is stubborness.
Give me a break. I sat back and watched this bs as much as I could and you either just need to listen or don't play with 14 in your bag.

What golfer in the world tries to skip across the water and not get it in the hole? Skipping is like a free throw to them.
Is skipping celebrated as equal to skipping the ball into the hole? Does the golfer fist pump when he skips?
Or does the whole crew get fired up if it goes in the hole?

Open your mind up. Or at least knock on the door. This entire rationale and argument is hardheaded and somewhat ridiculous.

You are wasting your key strokes.

Now I know what I'm dealing with.

No, I am not on tour. Who stuck their chest out and then failed? Playing in a US Amatuer is failing? You are way out of line here. You also don't know what you're talking about. At YOUR VERY BEST, you couldn't get within sniffing distance of a US Amatuer, or for that matter, a regional amatuer

BTW, I wasn't the one lecturing on course management, but it does matter what level someone has competed at in regards to knowledge of course management. Like I said, it is HIGHLY LIKELY someone that has competed in national amatuer events forgot more than someone like you will ever know about it. If you don't understand that, you're delusional.

Besides all of this bickering, I never contradicted anything you said about course management at Augusta.
