There have been several in recent years like Tommy Aaron, Charles Coody and I'm pretty sure Even Arnold Palmer that were "encouraged" to scale back to just playing a practice round so that they'd stop embarrassing themselves. I think that's why you saw Nicklaus bow out even though he was still slightly credible because he didn't want to be asked to stop.

Yea conditions are worse. Its suppose to warm up about 15 degrees but the winds will probably get worse as well.
