Don't forget the gang rape case is still ongoing and should pick up steam pretty soon. I wonder how long we'll be referred to as the "Viles" or "UThug" after more of the case becomes public....?

Vandy fans privately claim gv was killed by intellectual brutality. Volnation now knows the old saying "never argue with an idiot , they will kill you with experience " is true.

This was the best quote from them. One of our "worst" recruits ranking wise was one of their pride and joys, in Robertson. We flipped two of their guys over the last 2-3 weeks and they act like we filled up with "anybody's"? There's nothing wrong with having faith in your coach, his system and the players on the roster and those brought in but to go full retard and act like they see no significance in our class borders on needing to be in a straight jacket in a padded room. Their sidewalk alumni, and perhaps their true alumni, are slowly eroding the intelligence normally associated with their university.

Hmmm. I haven't seen a single post about Univ. of Texas as they are the real UT, right? The school to the East to which I believe you are referring is a hated rival whose fanbase (okay - the majority of one's that I encounter) are the most undeservedly arrogant, annoying people that I have ever met. Being in Tennessee, it is impossible to avoid them and difficult to ignore them.

And apparently the rules concerning the amount of players on the field is lost on Vandy fans along with the previous 30 years in which Vandy went 2-28 against us including some...more than a few...skunk years where they didn't even score.

Sure Chatty. 1. Two years in a row. 2. You still do not have a QB. 3. At least 25 of your starters will be true freshman. Why am I a life long Vanderbilt fan schooling you on your team? They have a 500+ post thread desperately trying to reassure themselves how irrelevant our team is. One poster said they see Vanderbilt “no differently than Memphis or MTSU”. Yet, their board is flooded with posts about us. The obsession they have about us is truly remarkable.


Every year it’s the same story – they get all excited about a new recruiting class and then they lose to us and then miss out on a bowl. They have deluded themselves to think that better days are ahead. They simply are unable to come to terms with that this is our state now.


We own them now in every major sport: we hold the latest victories in football, basketball, women’s basketball, and baseball. They are stuck dusting off old scrapbooks and VHS tapes because this is really all they have left. We have always had the education advantage as well.


Hopefully, they can stop their hyperventilating and eventually come out of the fetal position and come to terms to the reality that Vanderbilt is now the dominant SEC program in the state.

They also won the state Fulmer Cup!! Why aren't they including that? They "owned" us in crimes (read: gang rapes and stabbings) perpetrated by football players.

Vandy fans cry and get defensive when people say they won't support their team, can't sell out a 40k seat stadium, etc...then in response to Vandy opening 2015 @ MTSU , they post this...



--> I hope Coach Mason can change that (much the same as Franklin nixed the Ohio St game) ... We do not need to be playing Middle, it is absolutely a no-win situation.

It does nothing for exposure, and MTSU has a very small fan base (we will NOT sell-out in Nashville & I tend to think Vandy fans will not even travel to Murfreesboro... I won't).

This is not "your state." It will never be "your state." Since the start of 2000, Vanderbilt has a record of 3-11 against Tennessee...3-11! That's awful, but what makes it worse is that these are our worst years, and your best, and your team still sucks. Vol fans even outnumber you guys in your own city... And what makes it even funnier is that when James Franklin left so did Vanderbilt's future.

So in short, Vanderbilt has been and always will be the University of Tennessee's punching bag.

Oh vanderbilt, your so cute. You win 2 games and act like you've been doing it since the dawn of football and then proceed to gush over the worst recruiting class in the conference. Yo then talk about how awesome your record has been and will continue to be while refusing to schedule a single respectable OOC opponent. Heck you're even trying to buyout some of the non-respectable games you have and replace them with high school teams.
You Vandy fans do realize that you could actually win 8-9 games and you'd end up in a worse bowl game than any other 6-6 SEC team because of how pathetic your schedule is and if you had your way, will continue to be. You also realize that no top recruits will ever come to your school for that exact reason. Why go to a school just because they are in the SEC when they will make sure you never get to prove yourself to anyone respectable outside of the conference, when you can go to a school with a worse record and actually have a chance of turning that school around and getting winning records against respectable opponents. Heck you guys could go 12-0, win the SEC championship and would still not make it in the playoffs over 1-2 loss teams just because of how pathetic your OOC schedule is and will be if Mason continues Franklins tradition of buying out respectable teams and replacing them with FCS and were in the FCS in the last 5 years teams.
