80's music was great man. Don't knock it. :nono:

Oh I will be the last person to diss on 80's music. I think it was the greatest era of music ever. Rock totally took off in the 80's and has held through the test of time (unlike disco and other various music). 80's music is the greatest. just knocking on your age a bit, while I still can.

how's this for positive? you put us in nova's bracket, with maybe a george washington, nc state, oklahoma, etc. i think we could seriously get hot and have a shot (well a very outside shot) of running it to the final four. the right draw mixed with us playing like we were around florida game number 1 and we could make major, major noise. i am thinking a second round exit in a close game though, or round of 16 to uconn, because that is where i see us ending up

I am at a complete loss as to how saying this team is not built for a deep tournament run is negative. I'm one of the guys 2345 calls out all the time for being negative. I've been nothing but complimentary of what this group has accomplished. This is as enjoyable a team as we will ever see. However, turning a blind eye to their weaknesses isn't being positive, it's being silly. If you haven't seen at least 20 tournament teams that should beat UT on a neutral floor, you don't watch enough college hoops live or on TV.

Yeah, we'd have a lot of fun with Taj Gray and Kevin Bookout. Our powerful inside game would really neutralize those guys. Villanova? We really want to play a team our press wouldn't work against. They'd score 80+ without hitting high gear.

No, it seems that every post you make is negative in some sort of way towards ut sports. That is why. If its not how this team is to weak and been overperforming all year, its how fulmer will never lead this team to another national championship. But man its all good, got to take the good with the bad. go vols right?

I don't see how giving the team credit for accomplishing more than their personnel warrants is negative. The main purpose of my consistent harping on this team's weaknesses is to avoid people leaving this season with a bad taste in their mouth if we make an early exit from the tournament. This is a season to be celebrated, regardless of what happens from here on out. As to Fulmer, guilty as charged.

I agree. But dont you think that instead on dwelling on the negatives to aggravate some of us, you can say some more positive stuff? It seems everyday there is a diffrent person arguing with you. You will find the board so much more enjoyable that way. haha but whatever floats your boat. go vols right?

When there are positive things to point out, i.e. Bruce Pearl's work this year, I'm the first to give credit. However, it's not my style to attempt to put a happy face on everything. With notable exceptions, mainly U-T and occasionally Vol67, I never say anything just for effect. While I may go over the top to make a point, the underlying theme is always something I believe to be true.

The flip side is that there will be 44 teams that the VOLS can beat and that makes me optimistic. I've been drinking the PEARL AID all season and I see no reason to stop now.
