I think that Briscoe will come along and from what I have seen of Rogers this year, he was pretty solid but all in all, I'm praying that Meachem will come back. I seriously doubt he will though.

Your post is right on the $, Jake! I think it sums it up pretty well. I thought before the season we would be looking at 9-3 - had my losses in diff. spots & so these past 2 back-to-back have not been the best two weeks of the season (coupled with the stupid nightclub fight/arrests). It's very important for us to finish strong these last 2 (3?) games!!

Honestly, I doubt he goes. If he is realistic about things and has aspirations of being a first rounder.

The thing that got to me the most about the disheartening performance in Fayetteville was the whole "fired up, focused, and prepared" motto that was being chanted during the Summer and into the Fall practices. The Vols didn't exhibit any of those characteristics on Saturday night.

Combined with Ainge, they could have a very very good year.

Yes they could. I defintely think Meachem needs another year to hone his skills. He is still not catching the ball with his hands enough. Dropped passes against LSU and Arky. The touchdown he got against Arky, he trapped aginst his shoulder, he really has some things to work on in my opinion.

I think the Ark game hurt his NFL status. Maybe out of the first round. He got handled by a physical corner. The NFL is FULL of those.

I think what is troubling is the in every game against a good team, with the exception of Cal, tennessee has had MAJOR deficiencies, and as the season has progressed, many of the problems we had last year are starting to rear their head, both on and off the field.

Let me remind you, Cal is a complete sham of a team. Beating them was no great feat.

They looked whooped coming out of the gates.
