The next great fantasy novel based TV series

The novel "Good Omens" is being adapted into a "Starz" series. Neil Gaiman co-wrote it with Terry Pritchard, I think. Gaiman, for sure, not 100% sure Pritchard was the co-writer, but over 50% sure, if that helps. Premieres May 29th. I think "Starz" is trying to follow Gaiman's "American Gods" series with Omens. The plot is more or less an Angel and a Demon teaming up with some kids to stop the end of the world and the 4 Horsemen of the Apokolips, literally. It's been at least 15 years since I read the book, but I loved it. Imo, a Top 5 Gaiman novel, counting the "Sandman" comic book. Some people may not consider it GRRM and Tolkien style Fantasy since it takes place in modern day with no sword and sorcery (well? I guess tecnically it has a little of both), but I do. I'm checking it out

Edit: My bad, begins May 31st not the 29th

Currently reading it. Been on my To-Read list for at least 20 years. Saw the show was coming out and decided it is time. Probably won’t finish it before the premier though.

Also rereading Sandman. Will be my 3rd read through but been about 10 years since the last time.

Been on a Gaimen kick lately. Just read “Fortunately the Milk” to my kids. They loved it. Really cute story about a father who goes out for milk then explains to his kids why it took so long by telling this elaborate story about being abducted by aliens, falling through time, being rescued by a wacky scientist who happens to be a stegosaurus, and ultimately saving the universe all while holding the milk.
