The NFL Draft Thread

Its not relevant

David Vobora OLB IDAHO

I bet he makes the team for St.Louis and is on the 2nd team with Jon Wade, which is a helluva accomplishment

Couple of LSU Tigers go early third round.

Surprised that Hester went that high. (69th overall to San Diego), but that's a perfect place for him.

He is good, just thought he was a little small to go that high into the NFL.

That's the reason Lorenzo Neal was not resigned.

I must say, I think the best pick of the draft was Mayo to the Pats. It couldn't of happen to a better person and a better team. :)

Panthers take Jonathan Stewart. That's not good for Deangelo Williams.
they were looking for a combo back since Desean is gone. now it's debatable whether they should have taken him or mendenhall, but that's just personal preference. my initial reaction to this was WTF? i'm learning to like it.....plus RM went to the steelers......so, it wont' be all bad.
Titans wont get another pick until the 7th round unless they trade up.

Dennis Dixon to the Steelers? I dont know about that one, can he catch?
no way he's going to be a true qb. they're bringing him in to see what they can do with him inside this offense and take some pressure off ben. they definitely decided to go after some weapons for the new money man in the 'burgh. should be interesting.

I could see Stewart and Williams being developed as a nice RB combo in Carolina.

And jakez, if Dixon stays in the league, it will be because he somehow develops into a legitimate WR. Sorry to say it, but I just don't see him as any sort of NFL prospect.
