Am I reading Wiki correctly that since 2016, Toronto has lost 5 Game 7s in the first round, 4 of them to a hated rival (3 to Boston, 1 to Montreal)? The qualifying round loss in 2020 was an elimination game too (5-game series).

If it was any other NHL franchise, I'd feel sorry for them.
