I saw this on the news last night. I don't understand how the pastor thinks this is some type of honor to the victims of 9/11. It reminds me of Phelps.

I'm sure this will somehow be labeled as a Tea Party rally.

How about this "peaceful" religion not kill over something that this American citizen has every right to do.
(I do not agree with him doing it, but he damn sure has the right)
How about this religion that just wants "unity" stop the plans to build the Mosque at ground zero.

I understand the General's concern, but all they want to do is kill our soldiers EVERY DAY. This will not effect that.

with the money Soros is spending to paint the Tea Party as a racist, redneck, uneducated lot, you're probably right.

It's amazing how much money this man is spending just to paint a loose group of people out to be some unified card carrying racist, fanatical terrorist organization. You'd figure with the philosophy he espouses, he'd be writing a check made out to US Treasury to pay his "fair share" like all good rich people should. I guess he's doing his part to stimulate jobs in the political sector.

The Tea Party isn't just one specific set of ideals or people. A certain percentage care only about fiscal responsibility and the size of government. A certain percentage care somewhat about that, but also have a vision of America that is threatened by the changing face of the country and that scares them. A certain percentage pay lip service to the first item, do not understand the second, and are there simply because they are sheep or can't stomach a black man as POTUS.

I recognize that the last percentage is by far the smallest. I'd say that the second is by far the largest. The first are being drowned out by the middle and the last group is who gets the headlines.

Good grief is this a ridiculous post, made all the more so by the rearing of your Pink Elephant's head.

Do you have examples of these groups? And how you came to those numbers? And when you say "changing face of America" you do realize that as broad as you define that, most of America fits into that category and that broad definition is not in reality what you are trying to allude to.

What scares people is his ability to spend their money, with nothing to show for less a handful of government jobs that have run out.

What scares them even more? Hes wanting to spend more on his unsuccessful ideas.

Petraeus Condemns U.S. Church's Plan to Burn Qurans - WSJ.com

Just a horrible, horrible idea.

The guy has had his 15 minutes and its time for him to do the right thing and put a halt to this.

These are just samples... but obviously you have some reason for being so "sensitive" toward those poor Muslims who are offended by an exercise of free speech and so callous toward the real, every day abuses of "mainstream" Islam.

LG... what evidence do you have concerning those classifications within the TP?

I suspect your answer is "none" and will take silence as equivalent to that answer.

FTR, it isn't the "changing face of the country" that bothers conservatives. It is having those changes forced upon people and the failure of gov't to enforce the law or govern by rule of law.

It's hard to get past the tortured grammar of the thread title.

"All your base are belong to us."

Yeah, I hear you on that. I had it one way and changed it, only to find I only partially changed it.

Oh, well.
