She probably meant his country of origin. People ask me where I'm from and I say Puerto Rico but I was born in Johnson City and grew up in Rogersville.

Or maybe she meant his home country, because that is where he was born.

(If its been produced and I've missed it, disregard this) FYI, the reason for the whole "Birth Certificate" thing wasn't birthplace, it was RACE. Barrack Obama is a white male. His mother is white, therefore his birth certificate says White in the Race box.

My son is "Black" because his mother is black, even though if you looked @ him you would say "white".

His real birth certificate has not been revealed, he won't show us. In fact he has fought it through the courts.

I was up-to-date months ago but have dropped off with regards to keeping up with it all. That's what I thought, BTW its bc it says WHITE or CAUC.

I'm pretty sure his real birth certificate has been shown tons of times. So many times, that the State of Hawaii had to create a new policy where the same person can't request to see the same birth certificate multiple times, because they have been swamped with thousands requests, some of which are repeated immediately after the person saw it.

He's American. Sorry.

I always thought this birth certificate silliness was part of a fringe right wing movement. It looks like we have some fringe right wing loonies in here or it is actually mainstream.

the question still remains why he spent millions to not release a $50 document. obviously there is something there he is hiding. doubt it's because he was born in kenya though.
