Significant difference.

I mean, I think a fair percentage of people are now aware of the memos going around about Al-Qaeda planning a major attack, and even that there were memos about the possibility of use of planes to hit buildings. The notion that anyone in our government knew of this particular plan and did not stop it is irrational. The notion that significant warning signs were ignored, not so much.

Not as much nuance when it comes to Obama. You either think he was born in the U.S. Or you don't.

While thinking that Bush intentionally allowed the 9/11 attack to occur insane, I don't see any problem with people thinking that the Bush WH was generally aware that something was afoot and were caught unawares.

The president being a ferner is at least equally likely. He could have debunked this and his pathetic history as a student, but hasn't. If you can't see people holding that against him, you are asleep.

(If its been produced and I've missed it, disregard this) FYI, the reason for the whole "Birth Certificate" thing wasn't birthplace, it was RACE. Barrack Obama is a white male. His mother is white, therefore his birth certificate says White in the Race box.
