What are the odds? Georgia is without the following heading into this season.....

Top two RBs - King and Ealey
Justin Houston - Top D-lineman
Walk-On O-linemen in their two deep
AJ Green and Kris Durham - Top two WRs from last year
Clint Boling - Top O-lineman from last year

Add in Chris Petersen >>>>>>> Mark Richt and what are the odds of Boise State just putting a total beatdown on Georgia? I'm talking 2+ TDs. Hell, now it's Boise State trying not to overlook Georgia.

Im not calling for a beatdown but UGA is going to have their hands full. Part of me wants them undefeated when we go head to head.

It could happen, but Georgia is still the favorite.

It would be funny to see Richt's last stand get kicked off with that kind of loss. It would not be funny to hear all the non-SEC fans using it as fodder for smack-talk.

Plus, according to the majority of the board last year, no non-BCS team can ever beat a quality SEC team, accept for that one time with Utah.

I think Boise State will be favored heading into that game so I don't see UGA being the favorite at all. You might see Richt get canned going into week three if they start 0-2 since they have SC coming up right after Boise State.

Starting off 0-2 this year may put them into a tail spin from which they cannot recover.

I don't think Georgia is going to be that great, but didn't Boise lose a lot?

Not at all. Everyone thinks that, but they're bringing back 14 starters and a senior-laden defense (entire D-line and the two linebackers are all seniors). Plus, Kellen Moore, Doug Martin, etc.

As to the OP's question, I doubt it'll be a game decided by more than one score either way. Boise by 4 is my prediction, but we'll have to see how it turns out. I'm fairly confident in Boise's ability to win this game, though.

This is the first year where the majority here are calling for Boise State to win. Hope it isn't a jinx.

I can definitely see it happening. I learned after the VT game that this Boise State team can play with the big dogs, and right now UGA's a bunch of wounded pups. UGA starting off with a big loss could secure Richt's fate.

Georgia's defense should be a lot better. They seem to be more talented than Boise State but Boise State seems to be better coached. I would love to see them absolutely destroy Georgia but I think Georgia wins. Good Qb match up too.
