The Offical Nashville Predators Thred

I doubt anything is turning around in Nashville this year.

What do you mean? I think this team will do better in the playoffs when we make it than our team did last year. We had too many chiefs and not enough Indians last year.

and i honestly wasn't overly impressed with the Wings monday night, now we played even worse, but IMO they are very beatable.

a single win in the playoffs would be an improvement over last year. or the year before.

who cares about the regular season? everybody knows the heat gets cranked up when the playoffs start, especially in hockey.

the Central is so weak that some nights the biggest effort the team has to give is deciding what they want to eat as pre-game meal and they still win.

How much do you really know about hockey? The Preds won a game in each of their last 2 playoff series and the Central is one of the toughest divisions in hockey this year. St Louis with Kariya and some others, Chicago with Toews and Kane, the Central is FAR improved from last year.

honestly, i really didn't feel like looking it up until just now. 1 win or no wins. what difference does is make? you still lost the series. but hey, Predators playoff hockey history is right up there on my list of things to remember.

i never said the Central was worse than last year. and yes, it's so tough this year that Detroit is running away with it.

Youre not running away with it. Lowly Chicago owns your team plane right now.

i expect nothing less than hard fought games with the Blackhawks. even in their worst years, they give Detroit all they can handle.

not running away with it?

Detroit 30 22-6-2 46 8-1-1 St. Louis 28 16-10-2 34 5-3-2 Columbus 31 14-11-6 34 5-3-2 Chicago 30 15-13-2 32 4-5-1 Nashville 28 14-12-2 30 4-5-1

correct me if i'm wrong, but 46-34 is 12 right? a 12 point lead? considering the next biggest division margin is around 6, and the Wings have 16 on the last place Central team, you're right, it's still close.
