I think Pruitt will be fine if the fans have patience. Butch Jones's players were recruited for a gimmick system. Also need another Heath, Peyton, T-Rob, Condredge, Streater, Bobby Scott, Andy Kelly, Dobbs... even an Ainge, Clausen, or Swamp Rat. Even Worley looks great after today.

This beat down might actually be beneficial in the long run. Could keep everybody focused on getting a whole lot better.

Under center instead of Butch's stoopid RPO. Loved the end around call to the freshman on 3rd or 4th and 1 after packing in a few QB sneaks earlier behind 7 offensive linemen. Used Wood-Anderson well. Questionable first play... but worse execution. Utilized Jauan (a dog) very well.

I think one thing that was really disruptive to the offense... the defense could not get GA State off of the field when the offense was finally getting some momentum. Was there even one 3 and out by GS today?

JG threw too many 1 yard passes on 3rd and 3.

My lord I think I'm quitting the football forum. I just can't take the apologists. The excuse makers are out, saying Georgia St. is probably good and we just didn't realize the season started.

I'm sorry....WTF does that even mean? And GSU isn't suddenly the new Boise St.

Just another way of dealing with reality. Like I for one, may not live long enough to see TN become a perennial power in football again. I can live with that because of our success in BB. (Knock on f...g wood.)

Hopefully, those of you who follow basketball closely will start posting more new topics. It’s too painful for me to follow the football forum. I suspect it’s going to get worse this season.

I need to treat football the same as our crash in women’s basketball. Irritating but just ignore and find something else to do.

I'm laughing at the Saban and Swinney comparisons....some are really scrapping the bottom of the barrel for spin.

It's unreal. I'm not ready to completely turn the page on Pruitt after 13 games, but he has an uphill fight to warrant his employment. I understand that financially, we can't just fire him. Yesterday just sealed and reassured my jaded attitude towards our program. Maybe Pruitt fixes it in time, but I won't be hanging onto every game to watch it happen. Someone let me know how it turns out by Thanksgiving. I have better things to do. Never thought I'd reach that point, but here it is.

You gotta understand that, for the most part, hardcore UT bball fans don't make threads for every little thought that pops into our minds.

Ask questions, post in older threads, be a participant. Have you heard about how our 2020 recruiting class is shaping up? Do you know about the highest rated recruit UT has ever had (I think) is debuting this year? Welcome aboard. Tell your friends.

Oh sure. I follow the basketball recruiting pretty closely. I don’t understand the game as well as others so can’t comment on strategy. I wouldn’t mind seeing more threads about all news in college basketball here, not just UT.

Only eaten at Bob Evans once. T'was a field trip in the first grade (@Cedar Bluff elementary)...I recall the microwaved sausage being the highlight of the occasion.

Anyways, I have a hunch that Barnes is a Waffle House kinda guy...😏

Well, I went to the Shoney's on Broadway, last night after 9 pm to get the $6.99 late night breakfast bar and Barnes was filling up a to-go box
