The first half of 2019 was way worse than this, including losses to Georgia State and BYU. Losing to Wyoming my freshman year at Tennessee was humiliating. Numerous blowout losses to everybody in the SEC the last decade, including getting absolutely killed by Kentucky in 2020.

Nah, there are more. You just ask for one. Losing to Spurrier in Neyland in his early days at usc was another one. This is not all that embarassing. This exposes us as being pretenders and not contenders, but we are still way ahead of where we were expected to be in year 2 of Heup.

Kudos to the team on their first 8 games. This one just plain sucked. I'm still a Vol and always will be but winning out is a question mark at this point. Georgia earned the #1 spot and we'll be lucky to not drop out of top 10.
