This right here sums it up. We didn’t attempt to adjust. Georgia showed us they were going to blitz on 3rd and long and we attempted to run deep routes. It’s obvious this offense does work but when you face a good defense you best know how to adjust.
Our inability to adjust our passing game killed us. Defense did their job.
I sort of agree. After that interception by Ringo, he almost refuses to trust himself. I think he is still one of the best in CFB but he definitely responded poorly today.I’m going to say this…I have said for a long time that Hooker is bad when he receives pressure. He folds every time. He has been the benefactor of good line play….today it was bad and you see what he did. He is decent college QB. Lots of positives but he is not a championship type QB. I am proud of the Vols this season. They overachieved but this was embarrassing.
We have got to compete in recruiting to stand a chance. Georgia is levels above us. It’s not even close. We took advantage of bad secondary play against Bama. I’m just sick about it but again, you have to be happy with a 1 loss regular season record if we hold up. Georgia or Alabama will win it all this year. I don’t even care to play them again because it’s not competitive
I disagree 100%. Georgia is no more ahead of us than Bama was last year. We closed that gap and we will close this one. We’ve played terrible today. Georgia has made some plays but we’ve shot ourseves in the foot all day and hooker has been uncharacteristicly bad.If this is the floor, the only steps up are Atlanta and the playoff. Georgia isn’t letting us get to Atlanta in the next few years. We can get to a 12 team CFP but that’s it.
Literally our only hope would be for UGA to run the table and beat Bama and TCU to drop one. That puts UGA, UM/OSU, Clemson, and us. But again I just think we will drop to far after this performance
Well here is my take agree or disagree? Remember last year when we complained as fast as he was he couldn't get open. This game he started getting behind their secondary but after multiple misses he has kind of given up. These Georgia dbs are being extra physical and he is not that type of receiver. He isnt shedding blocks. Is Hyatt even trying to run a route?
