The Official #1 Tennessee @ #3 Georgia Game Thread, 3:30 PM ET, CBS

We're still "ahead of schedule" for the year, so to speak. Today UGA had the players and depth to shut down an offense which has to this point flourished, and it's crappy but not altogether surprising given UGA's depth of quality players. 2 years ago UT's program was a hell of a dumpster inferno, thanks to Beldar and his minions. No more. Heupel and staff have us on the right track and ahead of schedule so far. Recruiting/NIL/transfer portal (in tandem with further developing playcalling schemes) will get us to the next level. Go Vols!

I disagree that was a horrible onside attempt. I would rather them go full speed and take chances with bodies flying than the slow fake out and opposite direction kick.

I just read that there have been only 62 times D1 football programs have gone undefeated since 1936. That is sooooo few times considering how many truly amazing teams there have been over the past 86 years. I don't know about anyone else, but I certainly wasn't expecting this rising Tennessee program to go undefeated this season.

Like others have said, the Vols just need to take this loss, learn from it, then get ready to use what they learn on their remaining opponents. Georgia is really, really good, and Tennessee will now have their toughest opponent/venue behind them.

I'm no less proud of the team, the staff and program now than I was last night.

GO VOLS!

The psychological aspect is so huge in cfb with the players being young and all.You can say you believe and you're going to bring it, but talk is cheap and the truth showed up when it was time to put their money where their mouth was. We choked , and they didn't and all we can do is grow from it. There's a lot of positive momentum to build on if we can put this behind us and keep working
