Loved it when they were complaining about the air ball by Igor with 18 seconds left and said Illinois got screwed that the shot clock reset. Took them an entire minute before realizing that a foul resets the shot clock. This is a guy that played basketball at the highest level and doesn’t even know the rules. He sucks.

To set up the last 5 sec. Once we got running it looked like they were well prepared for that situation though.

I think Barnes drills those situations down in practice. If he didn't feel the need for a timeout, that's perfectly cool

Much like the adjustment many had to make with football this year… the best team in basketball will probably have more flaws than usual. It could be us and about 10 other teams.

That Jaku kid was pretty impressive, keeping in mind he's a freshman. I'd be interested to know if he becomes available on the transfer market later on...

I think playing defense at this level takes some getting used to for guys who transfer in. Seems like early in the season last year DK was short on some shots (but not the whole game like this).

That game should build some team confidence! Very ugly at times. Foul trouble. On the road. Missing our star players in a crunch time, but we overcame it all!!

This is the type of game that pays dividends come conference time.
