The Official #1 Tennessee @ South Carolina Game Thread, 6:30 PM ET, SEC Network

I was actually concerned about this game; and the first 15 minutes bore that out. Tennessee just has too much firepower! And the vols are obviously so much better Conditioned! Wore them down! Made a believer out of me. Impressive ROAD Win!
Fulky gassed the big white boy by sprinting for layups. Dude was sucking some wind!

Agree 100% - it was like the refs decided before the game to keep Silva out of foul trouble?

This is why I find BBall so difficult to watch! The Totally Biased and subjective Officiating drives me Crazy!!!

And I will say again, KY will be allowed to attack Williams with AX Handles and the No Calls will be in the hundreds!!!

We’re back at our hotel after an amazing time at the game. We sat five rows behind the Vols bench, and it was like being in the center of the action.

Our team really is incredible. Every time USC would make a little run, we’d keep our composure and shut them down. I never felt nervous during the game - not once - it just “felt” like we were in control the entire time.

Our players handled a hostile environment really well. It got LOUD in there at times (I even heard the stupid chicken recording a few times). But the Vols would squash any momentum USC would get - and the crowd would be out of the game again. It was sweet when the home team fans started heading toward the exits with several minutes left to go.

And I don’t know if you could tell on TV, but there was a lot of orange there tonight. Vols were seated in just about every section on every level. Loved seeing such strong support for our guys.

I’m so glad we made the three-hour drive up from Pawleys Island. Getting to see this team play in person was a special treat. And let me just say - as cut as Admiral looks on TV, it doesn’t even compare to what he looks like in real life. Just solid muscle. Btw, some of Admiral’s family was sitting right in front of us. It was fun to watch them cheer him on.

I really hope the Vols get to play the first round of the tourney in Columbia. I am so there if so.

Bone really set the pace tonight. He was ahead of South Carolina every step of the way, and made sure Tennessee came with him. Amazing job.
I have watched many games this year and I have not seen a better all around point guard than " THE BONER". He can do it all and is the sparkplug for the Big Orange Engine!!!

Awesome, vicarious vibes. From about 1998 till 2010 when I took early "retirement" Columbia was a frequent stop, 3-4 times a year, as we had a succession of post docs on our payroll. Saw several football games there (hate that screeching cock-crow) but never got to see a basketball game.

Indeed. He was like a field general out there tonight, keeping the troops in line and marching steadily towards the objective.

If JBone wanted to or if needed, I think he could score 40 points. However, CRB has built a real basketball team that doesn't just rely on athleticism. These guys play smart disciplined ball and really makes a team pay with made baskets and free throws when mistakes are made or they lack hustle. Fun to watch!

On a side note, Fulkerson was hilariously clumsy tonight...even worse than usual. He fell flat on his face just coming out to the top of the key unguarded to catch a pass, then (the one that caused me to nearly fall off my couch laughing) threw a no-look pass to an area of the floor that no Vol was in 15 feet of.
The pass was to Grant who had just decided to cut away from him.

He and Walker played well today in place of Alexander.

This didn’t age well? The Cocks biggest mistake was not feeding Silva more
Got a double digit win and Schofield needing a big night right. Silva had a big first half assisted by the refs but disappeared in the second.

Watching the replay right now. The Fulkerson Stumble is one of the funniest things I've ever seen on a court. I can't stop laughing. Gotta love the guy for trying to compete at this level.
