I’m pretty sure everything he does, it’s for his players. He’d rather have criticism put on him and at the same time wants his men knowing he has their back.

It’s what an elite coach does. Saban was guilty of doing the same thing.

No doubt, but he also needs to realize that every coach has dealt with a few idiots in the stands. I just hope he doesn’t get a collective mindset because of those few. Fans are paying the bills, you gotta learn to block that stuff out. On the other side of the coin, don’t go to games and get hammered drunk as a fan.

BaseVols are cooking! 8-1 in SEC play rocks! We get A@M next weekend in knocksville. Let’s keep them spinning to the bottom of the ocean. Go Vols! Tony V has this program rolling, with our pitching and hitting don’t see us dropping a series this year, especially when we get healthy. Don’t see Georgia and Arky being able to sustain their success throughout the SEC gauntlet. We have the better roster of the 3 IMO.
