I am happy to report to you that your Lady Vol Tennis team just made Nationals! They upset the #1 and 29-0 previously undefeated Oklahoma State to make the quarterfinals and elite 8! This is probably the biggest win in the history of the program! Wowowow great job ladies!

I thought Beam was good to start, left one up after a walk, but he kept us close and held them at bay. Kirby had a rough outing, Combs pitched well and Snead finished it out strong. I don’t recall the almost grand slam by Burke, we did get robbed once early on.

Beam wasn’t real sharp. Pitched around a lot of trouble but that’s his style. He’s been in the league, as a starter, 3 years now. A lot of guys have seen him a lot. He’ll do better, I believe, once he gets outta the SEC.
