He was a good guy. We knew each other by name. He ran a dunking booth out at the fair, and one year while we were walking through the midway, he got on his PA system and started hollering at me by name to come over and try to dunk him.Sure was.
Terry B was a knucklehead but was a pretty good guy.
He did a lot for underprivileged kids in the Knoxville area, that he never got credit for because he didn’t want it.
Love that a Middle Tennessee kid put the dagger in them. The biggest reason for Tennessee’s rise in baseball and Vanderbilt’s decline has been the Vols’ ability to land Midstate kids who would’ve gone to Vandy 10 years ago….Beam, Burns, Tears, Dickey, AJ Russell, Rucker, Lindsey, Hunley, Scott, Denton, Behnke, and Tidwell are all midstate guys who have contributed mightily to the Vols’ run of success the last 4 years. Most appropriate, thinking about TEARS for vandie fears. BaseVols with huge 8th drop anchor on vandie.
Listen to Kirby and @preacherman20 podcast. None of our players grew up fans of UT Baseball. That’s all changing now.Love that a Middle Tennessee kid put the dagger in them. Exactly! Corbin is so whiney & angry that CTV has taken over recruiting, & there's NOT thing #1 he can do about it.Love that a Middle Tennessee kid put the dagger in them.
